See the following resources for more information. Click on Windows 10 Start button and click on All Apps. Scroll down the list of apps till you find Windows Accessories folder and click on it. You will find Internet Explorer within the Windows Accessories folder. You can just right click on Internet Explorer Icon and choose pin to taskbar. Click the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of the screen, or press the ⊞ Win key. On Windows 8, instead hover your mouse in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click the magnifying glass icon. Type file explorer into Start. You should see a folder icon appear at the top of the Start window.

On 12 April 2011, Microsoft released the first 'IE10 Platform Preview', which runs only on Windows 7 and later. While the second platform preview was also available for Windows 7 and later, subsequent platform previews run only on Windows 8. The first preview release came four weeks after the final release of Internet Explorer 9.
IE10 expands on Internet Explorer 9 functionality with regard to CSS3 support, hardware acceleration, and HTML5 support. On Windows 8, it is divided into two editions with different user interfaces: a Metro app that does not support plug-ins and a traditional desktop application that retains plug-in support. On 64-bit computers, the Metro edition runs in 64-bit mode by default. The desktop edition can be run in 64-bit mode by enabling Enhanced Protected Mode.

Internet Explorer (IE) 11 is the last major version of Internet Explorer. Starting June 15, 2022, the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will no longer be supported on certain versions of Windows 10*.
Customers are encouraged to move to Microsoft Edge, which provides support for legacy and modern websites and apps. For organizations with a dependency on legacy Internet Explorer-based sites and apps, sites will need to be configured to open in Microsoft Edge using Internet Explorer (IE) mode.
